UIU Debate Club again Checkmate in National Debate Competition Begum Rokeya University Debating Association (BRUDA) orchestrated a riveting two-day-long national debate competition, under the title of ‘Upay Presents the 3^rd BRUDA IV National Debate Championship 2023′ which unfolded on the 6^th and 7^th of October, 2023. Top debate adjudicators and 32 teams from prestigious public and private universities fervently participated in this highly awaited national event. In a dramatic showdown in the final round held on the 7^th of October 2023,  United International University Debate Club (UIUDC) snatched the title of “CHAMPION”, triumphing over formidable opponents from Rajshahi University, Chittagong University, AUST, SUST, University of Dhaka, and Jahangirnagar University. Representing UIUDC with distinction, two debaters left an indelible mark on the competition. Abdullah Al Habib Badhon, hailing from the Department of Data Science, achieved a significant milestone by earning the prestigious titles of “Debater of the Tournament (DOT)” and “Debater of the Final (DOF)”. KM Ismail Safa, hailing from the Department of Economics, earned the esteemed distinction of being recognized as the 3^rd best speaker of the entire tournament. Upay (UCB Fintech Company Limited) was the ‘Title Sponsor’ while ‘Somoy TV’, ‘The Daily Ajker Patrika’ were the media partners in the event.
