The United International University (UIU) witnessed an electrifying display of sporting talent during the UIU Intra University Indoor Tournament’23. The final and prize-giving ceremony, held on October 15, 2023, was a resounding success, with esteemed Chief Guest, Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia, Vice Chancellor of UIU, gracing the occasion.

– In the Table Tennis (Male) Singles category, Kowser Ahmed emerged as the Champion, while Md Ahanaf Chowdhury secured the Runner-up position.

– Maisha Farzana Prottasha claimed the Championship in the Table Tennis (Female) Singles, with Marufatul Jannat Mim finishing as the Runner-up.

– The dynamic duo of Md. Afanur Hasan and Ayon Das clinched the Championship in Table Tennis (Male) Doubles, with Ahanaf Chowdhury and Tanjib Mahmud as the Runners-up.

– The Table Tennis (Female) Doubles category was won by Tasnim Hassan and Maisha Farzana Prottasha, with Marufatul Jannat Mim and Mobashera Isharaq as the Runners-up.

– In the Chess category, Md Tarifuzzaman secured the Chess (Male) Championship, with Tanvirul Islam Talha as the Runner-up.

– Nusrat Jahan Bably claimed the Chess (Female) Championship, while Elma Zaman secured the Runner-up position.

Carom Champions

– Hasmul Haque emerged as the Champion in Carrom (Male) Singles, with Dhiman Mojumder finishing as the Runner-up.
